Let me be honest with you. I was trapped in the grind.
Working constantly, providing for my family, but missing the moments that actually matter. Sound familiar?
My wife and I would look around and realize we were all in the same room but barely together—everyone on their phones, laptops, tablets.
We were connected to the world but disconnected from each other.
The Turning Point: Everything changed when we started making "unplugged time" sacred.
Board game nights. Puzzle afternoons. Escape room adventures.
Suddenly, we were laughing again. Talking. Really seeing each other. Our kids are adults now, but they still come back for game nights.
That tells you something, doesn't it?
And now with our new grandson, we're building these traditions for the next generation.
